About Me:

JP. I live in the Mid-West. When indoors I like playing video games, watching TV and movie DVDs, reading books and comics, creating art, and listening to-writing-playing-and everything music. Outdoors I like parks, riding my 63' Vespa, being warm, the smell of Autumn, and amusement parks. I enjoy making people laugh by being goofy and witty and sometimes tickley; conversations about our existence, the universe, feelings, and dreams. I believe there are more important things than overtime, wall paint shades, shiny appliances, pointless Degrees, and trivial arguments. I'm a fairly liberal but wholehearted follower of Jesus. I would like to find a lady who is beautiful inside and out and who takes me as I am.

mixing and finishing touches on the 2xCD.

i played these for a short part in a song. i’ve gotten quite horrible having not played for YEARS.
i had the melody planned out on guitar which was a mimic of a vocal line, i took that and accounted for the fact that guitars are actually tuned half step, and then also had to account for trumpet being in Bb so everything is a step and a half off. it was quite confusing. well actually i knew it was a step and a half from when i demoed this song 2 years ago but keeping the notes straight in my head was an exercise. and i googled a trumpet finger chart and just figuring out what keys to press in what order took longer than actually recording it.
the end.
